PPT recovery
Presentation files may sometimes behave in an unusual way while you were trying to access it. It may refuse to open or pop up an error messages while accessing PPT file. - You may also delete PPT file from computer hard drive by pressing “Shift + Delete” option and later realise that it is an important file. But as you have pressed this option so it willl bypass Recycle Bin and will be permenantly deleted from your system.
- PPT file may also get corrupted due to incorrect installation of MS office and leads to application malfunctioning.
- When you restore deleted presentation files by low quality third party tool, there is a chance of PPT file getting corrupted
- PPT file will not be saved in your system if it is shut down in improper way due to power surges, hardware problem and system crash while you were working on it, hence data loss.
- Repeated conversion of presentation files from one format to other is known as round tripping. The process of round tripping allows user to convert PPT to PPTX format, then to PDF and again back to PPT but damage file structure of PowerPoint file making it unreadable.
- Interruption at the time of downloading presentation files from internet may lead to corruption of PPT file. The interruption can due to any of the reason may be due to power fluctuation, synchronization error, network problem
- Registry policy error is also one reason for corruption of PPT file, If the settings are not properly, then admin may restrict the type of PowerPoint file that can be opened by application and when you try to open that file you may get an error message like “attempt to open a file that is blocked by registry policy setting”

Step 2: After that, the utility starts repairing process as shown in Figure B.

Step 3: Then you can preview the recovered PPT file by clicking on "Preview File" option as shown in Figure C.

Step 4: At last select location where you want to save your PPT files and then click on "Save" option as shown in Figure D.
